Venezuela update....

Trump to the people....

Eventually, you’re going to have peace, justice. You’re going to have some of the riches that you should have had for a long period of time. It was stolen from you, but you have peace, and you’re going to have safety, you’re going to have justice. You’re going to have a country.”

Yeah right...

Richest oil deposits in the world and they’re eating street animals..
@TheOneyouwerewarnedabout Not to mention Maduro's recent dip into the world of drug trafficking.

@TheOneyouwerewarnedabout Or the US could have simply lifted its sanctions and sat down man to man and tried to get along with the rest of the civilised world. Sadly the US has gone rogue. it is no longer trust worthy. its word is no longer its bond.
@hippyjoe1955 The sanctions started under Chavez, yet Venezuela was going through Brazil to sell their oil to europe and making serious money the Venezuelan government kept for themselves, despite claiming to be socialist.

@NativePortlander1970 Why were there any sanctions in the first place and why are they still there?
@hippyjoe1955 A very interesting read...

@NativePortlander1970 Yeah the US does need its 'bad guys' to maintain its own self worth. I kind of look at it a bit different. Take the log out of your own eye so you can help your neighbour take the speck out of his. Anyone remember Jan 6 and what resulted? Should the world have boycotted the US for having imprisoned political prisoners? The list of American failures is endless. Yet still it insists it alone is the righteous judge.

@hippyjoe1955 always quoting the Bible🙄🙄🙄
hippyjoe1955 · 70-79, M
@Ferise1 Oh you recognise the words. Wow! Wise words are wise words whether they come from the Bible or the Quran or the Communist Manifesto.

@hippyjoe1955 he just makes you sound so much like a tool
hippyjoe1955 · 70-79, M
@Ferise1 Only in your tiny little mind. So how did a chair come into existence if no one made it? You know 4 legs exactly at the right height for comfortable sitting. Padded seat and back. Nice arm rests. Must have just been an accident right?
@hippyjoe1955 Because an actual person built the chair, not some mythical imaginary sky daddy.
hippyjoe1955 · 70-79, M
@NativePortlander1970 So how did a cell come into being. It is infinitely more complex than a chair. It is doing chemistry that we can't duplicate even in our most advanced labs. it is acting on information coded in its DNA. So how did all those things come to be? Please be honest. Oh and if you say by natural causes I am going to laugh at you. There are no natural causes for what we see in a cell. If there was new life forms would be emerging all the time.
@hippyjoe1955 "because god"...

@TheOneyouwerewarnedabout cats haven’t been seen in the streets of Caracas for years. You prefer your capybara fried or grilled ?
