Kidnapping of Maduro: What has Trump done now in our name?

From extra-judicial killing and piracy in the Caribbean, Donald Trump has now used the US military to abduct a sitting President and his wife from Venezuela. All of that were not covert actions that a sitting President can deny any knowledge of and shield the American people from culpability. Trump has transformed the USA from world policeman to a bully.

How would an American defend his country as a force of good and not evil?

He's not a sitting president, dufus. He lost the election in 2024 by a lot, and refused to cede power. He assumed power in a "special election" in 2013, propped up by China and Russia.

Venezuelans are celebrating in the streets like they just won the World Cup

Just the recent indictments...

@BizSuitStacy Do you actually believe this?

I'd respect this more if you said "They're socialists and we want their resources so we're taking over by right of power."

But conspiracy to possess machine guns?
@BorealPedant I believe there's even more, but those are the indictments on record.

Feel free to leverage your expertise in US law and tell us why those charges don't fly.

The US Constitution does not give you the right to pass judgment on internal matters of another country. Trump is not acting in his capacity as US President. Did you elect Trump as King of the world?
@sree251 Oh...yiu missed the memo. The Constitution was ratified last night to make Trump king of the world. 🙄

Seriously...

The US captured a narco-terrorst who is responsible for killing far more Americans than Osama bin Laden did on 9/11. I don't recall any outrage when bin Laden got smoked.

BTW...nobody died in this operation.

The US went in and captured a genocidal dictator. The Venezuelans are celebrating in the streets.

Is that what you have been fed? The rest of the world is waiting for the fall out.

@BizSuitStacy Uh. Foreign states aren't subject to US law. Why do you care about Venezuela that's not your country.

Like what's the solution conquer the planet? I hear they have an army in Turkey and make drugs there too - quick got get em!
@BorealPedant You have no earthly idea of what's happening...

@BizSuitStacy any footage of the celebrations in the streets ?
@ididntknow Tons of it...but you won't see it via the MSM

@BizSuitStacy
We've already seen the video of the people of Venezuela celebrating. Are you gonna try telling us it's all fake?

The people celebrating were real. Have you any idea how much of US taxpayers money the CIA used to pay them to do the celebrating?
@sree251 Ohhh...please enlighten us. How much did the CIA pay them? 🙄

I asked you first. Do you have any idea how much?

@BizSuitStacy 40 people were killed . Removing Maduro does not change much . The Junta is not going to just give up.

@Khenpal1 you must be confused...

The "40 killed" is from an anonymous, unconfirmed source...a stunt pulled straight from Adam Schiff's rectum. But I was talking about US casualties, because we know the info from the Venezuelan govt is probably BS.

BTW...the Junta just got neutered, sonny boy. Everyone paying attention knew this was coming, and they rolled over with zero resistance.

@BizSuitStacy Venezuelans should be celebrating. Maduro is a murderous criminal dictator. The question is will happen when the person the Venezuelans want to elect is not the person trump wants them to elect.
@MoveAlong Given that Maduro lost the election in 2024, and refused to cede control, and probably highjacked the special election in 2013, I suspect the people of Venezuela will try to install a govt that will bring them back to being one of the wealthiest nations on earth.

@BizSuitStacy sounds a lot like what’s going on with zelenskyy
@ididntknow I agree, but there is a significant difference. Previous regime changes often lead to prolonged war, and enrichment of those with their fingers in the pot of the military industrial complex.

And yes...the US, under the Obama administration, flipped the govt in Ukraine, which predictably

The regime is still intact. Let's see if Maco Rubio dares step foot in Venezuela.
@sree251 Wanna bet on that?
