I Love The Usa

It is thrilling to see thousands of Americans protesting against the new Administration's xenophobic ban on Syrian refugees and others. If I were American I would feel very proud right now to see so many people saying loud and clear that refugees are welcome. 🇺🇸

Not xenophobic to put your citizens first.

@sassygirl: That's a questionable assertion, and in any case there is no reason to think this will benefit American citizens.

@GoddessDiabolica: it will protect us from all those terrorists attacks happening around the world by Syrian refugees. I say ban immigration from Muslim majority countries
@sassygirl15: they wont, as you can see trump didnt list any country he has businesses with.

@sassygirl15:
all those terrorists attacks happening around the world by Syrian refugees
??

Can you provide any sources for such a claim?

Remember that the refugees are running away from war and terror.

A quick internet search tells me that no terror attacks in the USA have been linked to Syrian refugees.

As for Europe here is a balanced article on this topic:

The war in Syria is because of Russia and America trying to control the oil routes. The people of Syria are suffering and losing everything. America is supposed to be on their side.. isnt that the excuse america gives for getting involved? to protect the people.. please read the news more.

Lets see the Turkey wedding, French open bombing, Germany's Christmas market bombing all done by terrorists. The Turkey wedding done by a child younger than me

@sassygirl15: Thank you for being specific. Checking, I don't see any connection between the wedding bombing in Turkey and Syrian refugees, though maybe I've missed it. As for the other attacks there is definitely cause for concern, but there is also the possibility that ISIS may be hoping to make the West paranoid about Syrian refugees, through planting stolen or fake passports at the site of bombings. In which case Trump is playing right into their hands. This article is worth reading:

@GoddessDiabolica: maybe you are right. I think people are forgetting that some these countries have large isis groups. Also most of the detainees are now being released and the ban is for 90 days not permanent
@sassygirl15: the people being released are green card holders already, and because of the protests. The 90 days applies to visits. Syrians are banned indefinitely until further notice.
Mountainlady16 · 22-25, F
@pandora: because of the terrorists around the world that are Syrians. Not like they are being left in Syria. We actually compared to other countries are taking a small amount..

These refugees need housing food healthcare jobs etc. And we have millions of our own citizens without that.

It's not xenophobic, it's only from countries Obama listed as supporting terrorism. That's not race related. If it were Egypt and every Muslim country would be banned.
