National debt. . . a rational fallacy? Rent is 800 a month Could you live on 38$ a day? . . . Simple “resolution”!

Given United States federal minimum wage is $7.25 an hour that’s $13,956.25 a year. WTF.
Only 16 states rely the federal minimum wage. In contrast 31 states have a state minimum wage above $7.25. 4 states have no minimum. Therefore the capital extraction that America and the world’s ultra wealthy have been allowed to preform is truly dastardly.
Full time work (50 weeks a year at 38.5 hrs a week) is 1925 hours of work; yearly. If paid $7.25 an hour then a person is expected to live on $13,956.25 before taxes.
After tax? WTF anyway more to come, but not enough to live!

7.25 per hour.....These are jobs for teens. If a grown man or woman is trying to live on 7.25 per hour
they have problems far deeper than pay.

Have you tried starting a business? maybe you could pay them more.

@DogMan I’m making more than that I’ve been working since I was 16 but regardless 7.25 IS the federal minimum wage.

@jehova My first real job at 15 yo I made 1.81 per hour.

I detasseled corn in the summer for 10 hours a day for .75 cents an hour when I was 11-14

At 11 I also had a paper route. Remember back when kids went door to door to "Collect"?

We tore off those little tabs to give them as a receipt. That is when I first dealt with deadbeats 🤣
