Is it true? "Americans" don't use kettles?

No, we do not use Kettle's and honestly, I think it is because most just microwave their water instead of brewing it. I will brew mine and will not use a microwave ever in my house.

Some people do. Stove tops kettles anyway. Electric kettles nobody really bothers with.

Kettles are pretty unnecessary to be honest. Any pan will suffice fkr boiling water
