You're being bad faith. I already said that housing is a human right, the government should invest in free housing until there is no more homelessness. But again, these are actors, not the government. They can't end homelessness.
You seem to think that a group of rich celebrities can end homelessness through charity. That's not how it works, we need real systemic change.
I don't like that homeless people were cleared out for the Met Gala, but sometimes that has to happen for public services, which the Gala 100% is. What do you propose? We just stop doing public service events?
Yes, giving the homeless a place to wait during the event and free food doesn't help them in the long term. We need systemic change for that, which these celebrities can't provide. We need actual left-wing politicians in all three branches of government.
That's it, 😄😄😄, you have single handedly solve the whole problem of systemic economic inequality in the whole world.

Being open-minded is a sign of intelligence.
No it is not. You're just wrong. There is no way you can convince me of that. I'm not going to discuss it further.

I would have sucked it up with paper towels and stuck it under my lip like Skoal.

I've been around that world and yeah. There are some who will beat their chests to be seen. Just like the majority of people on social media.
But the reality is that just being an artist typically means being sensitive to the human experience. It's baked in to the cake.
So those who push back against it are typically void or lacking in empathy for others. Some celebrities do preach, and don't necessarily walk the walk, but others are truly using their platforms in a way to positively influence or raise attention about things that need to be addressed.

If your mind is not open, how will new ideas get in?😷

There's being open minded and then there's Orwell's being able to hold two conflicting views in your head and believing both to be true....

Yep. A lot of close minded individuals would object to this notion, though.
