Being open-minded is a sign of intelligence.
I used to think that Liberal Hollywood stars were nothing but a group of self serving and out of touch look how great I am individuals who loved to get together in big events to pat each other on the back and tell themselves how awesome they are.
But one day I heard the speech of one of them accepting an award talking about major social issues.
He talked about civil rights, and AIDS, and Darfur, arguing that the film industry had often led public opinion and how it is changing the world.
That's when it came to me..
It's not about how you are changing the world, it's about how good you look while you're doing it.
I am grateful to be open minded enough to have realized this and to be able to change my mind.
