@Fukfacewillie Yes, they were instructed by their government not to get involved. But their sense of compassion and their noble respect for freedom compelled them to take matters into their own hands. They were a group of young men who could do nothing other than the correct thing to their minds. The RAF responded by forming a unit solely for them to identify with - Eagle Squadron.
