We need to model the US more closely on Ancient Rome in the Imperial period back when it was working well!

Augustus era USA!!!! with Christianity.

The Roman empire crumbled little after adopting Christianity, after roughly a millennium of polytheism

The United States is already well embarked in the process that led to its fall, at only 1/5 the lifetime of the Roman state.

Every attempt to recreate Rome has failed, fails and will continue to fail miserably.

@Elessar your the barbarian. your the anti roman empire antichrist thingy

Elessar · 31-35, M
@RachelLia2003 The Roman empire literally put Christians on the cross FYI

Remember Pilatus? Remember Nero?
RachelLia2003 · 22-25, F
@Elessar those were different ones. judas betrayed and stuff. then jesus blessed the empire.
Elessar · 31-35, M
@RachelLia2003 Those were the Romans for 90% of their history. They adopted Christianity only in the 4th century and collapsed in the 5th.

You have no idea what you're speaking about lol (not that it's news)
RachelLia2003 · 22-25, F
@Elessar they were jews. i dont want to talk about jews and stuff. last time i told my honest opinions i got banned für a while. i dont think honesty is the best policy here😩
@RachelLia2003 HULK SMASH NAZIS
Elessar · 31-35, M
@RachelLia2003 Nono, I'm speaking of paleo-Christians, not Jews. Not that for the pre-Constantine Romans there was much difference, anyway (rather, they may have preferred the latter if we take what's written on the bible for true).
RachelLia2003 · 22-25, F
@Elessar jews did that. i dont want to say more😩

@RachelLia2003 the Roman Empire was Glorious
FreddieUK · 70-79, M
@TradEmily Oh yes, that nice Mr Caligula and the marvelous Mr Diocletian were great supporters of traditional Christian family values.

@RachelLia2003 Nice meme, but not a rebuttal.
TradEmily · 26-30, F
@FreddieUK I literally put Augustus in my post!
FreddieUK · 70-79, M
@TradEmily You did. And I told you that he was the one who set up a personality cult claiming that he was a god. No supporter of Christians he.
TradEmily · 26-30, F
@FreddieUK That's why I said... Augustus AND christianity wouldn't have been what I want.
Elessar · 31-35, M
@TradEmily He wouldn't have been a big fan of Christianity either lmao
TradEmily · 26-30, F
@Elessar that's not MY point. I'm saying we would need someone like him who is a Christian also and the Roman Empire social structure.
Elessar · 31-35, M
@TradEmily Here they say, you can't have a drunk wife and a full bottle
TradEmily · 26-30, F
@Elessar well there's nothing inherently incompatible with what I'm saying.
FreddieUK · 70-79, M
@TradEmily But that's the point; there is.
