@Horsefrost says
Windmills are the biggest pollution agents.
Actually, new windmill blades are made with resins that can be chemically decomposed for recycling, and even more sustainable blade materials are being developed. As for the old fiberglass blades, they can be re-used as power poles, bridges, etc.

and you want solar cells?
Not only do I want them, I put them on my roof three years ago. Original payoff time was ten years, but meanwhile electricity got more expensive so they're paying off much faster. I drive a plug-in hybrid car, and abour 3/4 of my miles are electric.

But why spread it all across USA
Because power transmission infrastructure is very expensive. There are vast benefits to generating close to the point of consumption.

Conventional sources of energy are available at cheap price right now.
You haven't been paying attention!!

Electric utilities are businesses with stockholders to answer to! And that's why, when planning new power plants, they look for the lower long-term cost sources! And that's why

@Horsefrost Right now, when i question your claims about cost estimates and subsides, you DELETE my questions. That's an interesting approach to debate, isn't it?

@ElwoodBlues Get that question here again.

Complete distraction tarriffs that will only isolate America's economy. Leading to supply shortages and increased prices. He will simply rescind them tomorrow. Thats how he has played the market this entire time. Djt uses bringing "justice" to foreign nations as a distraction from the justice against him being delayed and avoided. He, djt, needs to stop this game of distraction and go to trial for the crimes he has comitted. He keeps running and shifting blame. Hes running scared bc hes guilty. Lock him up.if hes innocent he should go to trial.
Dear @Horsefrost Are we pretending the deficit doesn't exist?? Are we pretending anthropogenic climate change isn't a problem?? Tяump's real achievement is convincing people like you that sweeping our biggest problems under the rug is some kind of solution. SAD!!!
@Horsefrost Australia welcomes pedophiles??
I did NOT know that!! Do you want him to get rid of your gun control and your national health care?? Or do you just enjoy the spectacle of watching him cheat at golf??

@ElwoodBlues He is not up for a scam in the name of clean energy. Windmills are the biggest pollution agents. Their motor driven fan can not be decomposed, once decommissioned. You don't have sun all around the year and you want solar cells? It is good for southern districts only. Maybe a plant in Arizona and Texas will be enough. But why spread it all across USA. Their initial cost of installation is way too much. Conventional sources of energy are available at cheap price right now. We should let this world stabilize first and then think of alternate sources. Otherwise keep spending money on renewables and let third world companies come over there and let Russia focus on their weapons.

@ElwoodBlues You have come to the point where I think I am aware about USA more than you are. Probably you are not even American.

Do you know that Gilette is the best a man can get?

Read it all for yourself:

It wouldn't be published if it was in a novel because it would be unbelievable.
