21.645 million acres owned by 25 families. There are 2.26 billion acres including waterways and bodies of water in the entire United States therefore .021645\2.2645= .0095576%
Although there are 6.7 acres per person that exist in the United States. Given a population of 340 million, exactly equal ownership would be 6.7 acres per person. 25 families own .01% of the entire united states, which is roughly 100 million acres each versus the 6.7 acres per person option. That Sounds like landed gentry to me. Or is it land barons?
Either way equal access is being commodified.
The exact thing America was intended to avoid.

@jehova dude that was very informative . Big ups ! private land ownership pales in comparison to the amount of land owned by the US govt. I think they own like 30% of the land west of the Mississippi (plse don’t quote me on that number )

@AthrillatheHunt still about 100 people own a huge amount of very economically strategic land area.

@jehova yea dude i geek out over random statistics like that

@AthrillatheHunt definitely a concern the citizens claim to be opposed to government control yet the federal government owns nearly 1\3rd of the US's land area? Something aint right. Also if the fed owns 30% that means of the remaining 70% 1.4% is owned by 100 people.

@jehova yes the US govt owns 28% of ALL land
