What happened to leaders like this?? I know he wasn't perfect and you're all going to tell me all about the things he did wrong or illegal or whatever ... but I just love this speech...

And please don't misunderstand me. I'm NOT an open borders advocate. But I DO believe strongly that lawful, orderly immigration is and has been one of America's strengths for 240+ years.

For a B or C grade Actor he was a President that had values.

Apart from First Nation Tribes and their descendants the rest of Americans all descend from immigrants even if some of that was somewhat forced. (Slavery)

@KiwiBird Yes, for sure. And that is the point here. Only one of my grandparents was born an American. The other three became Americans by choice (choice of theirs or their parents).
