What made America Great?

What happened to leaders like this?? I know he wasn't perfect and you're all going to tell me all about the things he did wrong or illegal or whatever ... but I just love this speech...

And please don't misunderstand me. I'm NOT an open borders advocate. But I DO believe strongly that lawful, orderly immigration is and has been one of America's strengths for 240+ years.

These days the GOPers would attack him as a left-wing pinko for some of his beliefs. He was a disaster for the economy, almost got us into a nuclear war with the USSR, took credit for the fall of the Berlin Wall when he had nothing to do with it, broke Federal laws, etc., etc., etc. But he was an actor and knew how to talk convincingly to the public.
