I don’t know but after the poor reception I received from the Border Staff last time I visited I have no intention of ever returning to the country to find out.
@Anniedlr How did you arrive and how were you (apparently poorly) received?
Anniedlr · 26-30, F
@LamontCranston I arrived by plane from the UK. The staff dealing with me were extremely rude and impolite. I have travelled to many countries through the world and never encountered such rudeness
@Anniedlr I regret that that happened to you. My experiences have never been like that but then I would be a returning American so it might not be comparable. (Newark TSA has had a long history of rudeness but my last experience there wasn't bad.) Paris is the airport I hate most, with Heathrow second.
But I think you would find Americans generally a friendly group.

@LamontCranston It is unfortunate that it happened and I don’t blame Americans as a whole for the incident. I guess the person had got out of bed on the wrong side that day.
@Anniedlr They try to rattle you so you make a mistake and tell them something you shouldn't have.

@JamesBugman Well they failed in trying to rattle me into a mistake as I have nothing to hide☹
@LamontCranston maybe half the people. But the other half make it a country on the no fly list
@looking4thesun which halves do you put into each group?
By the way, I just returned from an enjoyable trip to Canada.
@LamontCranston well I believe everyone knows which group has been very inhospitable to foreigners at this time.
@looking4thesun thank you for revealing your bias.
@LamontCranston it may be biased but we both know the truth is there
