Does the u.s. supreme court have ultimate authority in international filings?
Mexico is suing gun manufacturers for distributing firearms to Mexican nationals. Reportedly u.s. gunmakers were "smuggling" weapons into mexico to be used by mexican gangs and cartels.
To me that seems like a matter for international courts. The u.s. supreme court dismissed the case? But it isnt within their juristiction.
Also why are gun nanufacturers not being held responsible for exporting weapons to criminal organizations?
Enforce laws for everyone. Or get rid of the law. Eh?
Screaming that foreign nationals are bringing guns across the border into America is not a valid argument. If America sold them the gun; especially if they are just trying to get it "repaired" in the country the gun (merchandise) was built in. Who is breaking the law now. Smith and weston?
