Elected office term limits by branch of federal government per age! DUH. Should this be done for state level too?
I maintain forced retirement age in elected office is prefered. 10 years over retirement? (65+10=75 years old maximum) or is a 2 term limit better?
Then disqualified from holding the same elected office? Or if 2 terms older than office sought for cannot be a candidate for public political office at all; after age 73?
That would be Maximum 65+8 (2 4 year terms) =73 y\o for President (executive); maximum 65+12 (2 6 year terms) = 77 y\o for House of Representatives (legislative popular) and maximum 65+4 (2 2 year terms) = 69 y\o for Senate (legislative equal\fixed).
Should this be implemented at a state level too?
That seems too much of a range! (73+77+69)=219, 219\3=73 y\o average!
therefore 75 y\o maximum for all three?
I prefer just saying maximum age! 10 years over retirement age which is currently 65. Thus 65+10 years
75 y\o and done!
