Fun fact: the English word “tariffs “ comes from the Arabic word “Ta’rif”

So basically every time you say “tariffs “ you are actually saying an Arabic word .

Anyways how much tariffs has Trump placed on your country? 🤔

Does it mean compliment? Because that's what it means in Urdu

Compliment as when you tell people you are pretty etc?
If that’s the case then no

But Urdu has been influenced by Turkish Persian and Arabic
So there will be no surprises if there are many shared words between Urdu and Arabic.
