@kutee Several states have gone back to the firing squad. There's no problem finding the shooters. S. Carolina is scheduled to execute someone by firing squid Fri. night.

@kutee im not normal. Im traumatized from other humans. But i guess that is kind of becoming the new normal.

In the context of Christianity, i think god abandoned humanity when we killed his son.

Humans with power value money over life. If we were all truly empathetic we wouldnt have war or famine. Humanity had only experienced world peace for 250 years. 200 with the roman empire and roughly 50 after WW2. That doesnt include all the murder, rape, tourture and slavery that has been apart of our culture for our entire existence.

Based on my experience on this planet, i think humanity is a barbaric and warlike species. We even have to kill to eat. We are capable of learning empathy by overcoming hardships but its a learned trait. Humans are selfish by nature but learn compasion by witnessing the suffering of others. This is why being ritch usually causes a person to become snobbish and biggoted. We are easily corrupted by greed.

@kutee the only reason your standing on the soil you call yours is because a faction of brits killed off and assimilated the natives so they could found thier own country. It was also built on the backs of slaves while the owners took the credit. This was just the norm in colonial times.

Your post requires the questionable assumption that God exists in human form. A big leap of logic.

@RedBaron thats besides the point. I assume it was a Christian answering so i spoke in a christan context. My answer might change if i assumed they were muslim or bhudist for example.
