GULF OF AMERICA!

How utterly pathetic renaming the Gulf of ( that place south of America hidden behind the Trump Wall,anything Hadrian can do...) to the Gulf of America🤣🤣 How proud they be 🇺🇸 that Google Maps have changed the name which dates back to 1550 on historical maps on American web sites and all the CIA geographical maps the USA heavily depends on to find anyway outside their country! The rest the world maps will continue to call it the Gulf of Mexico.

That part near the Mexico coast is actually a Bay. The wider opening isn't protected from the open ocean and it's a gulf.

Part of it should be named Grand bay of Mexico and the rest should be renamed the Gulf Of North America.

In the next hundred years when technology makes it possible to populate, research and farm the sea floor every country will have to come to grips with creating clear lines of border between the coastal regions.

While backwards people argue the US and Mexico will be light years ahead of the rest of the world.

I'm gonna give Trump the respect for being the thinker that he earns for once. I think the opposing ones are just jealous because they didn't think of it first.

@SteelHands The average depth of the Gulf of Mexico is over 2,000 meters. Seeing as there are no undersea settlements anywhere in the world, good luck "populating" the seabed there in 100 years 🙄.

And apart from all that, how does Trump changing the name of a body of water that has always been there somehow make him a "thinker"?🤣 I'll wait.
