Do you dislike all Americans because of their President?

A very similar post was up for a short time yesterday before being removed for reasons only known to the poster. However, the deletion meant that some very positive comments disappeared along with an interesting sub-thread with views about why Trump was considered the lesser of two evils to some voters. I am giving a chance to those who responded to re-post or for new contributions.

Here's my answer:

No. I know of many fine Americans who have morals and integrity and who are suffering a great deal of angst an the moment as they see what's happening.

I'm American and there are alot I dislike. I used to be able to have discussions with conservatives, but it turned into an insular cult.

@Neoerectus It's so sad isn't it? I do sometimes get a reasoned response which even though I don't agree with is helpful in understanding other people.

Um, who's the insular one?

@Thrust First graders can read my post and understand. Now, if you go have an observation or comment, make it and stop cowering. You make my point for me.

I rely on researched facts and figures. Traditional Republicans did so as well AND hated federal debt. As a social liberal, I also want programs paid for, unlike Cut-n-Spend cultists.

The cultists' evangelical "christians" who castigated the DC Bishop for preaching Jesus of Nazareth's teachings on love, compasssion, EMPATHY, and mercy demonstrate they are more akin to followers of an anti-christ as depicted by the Christian Bible - A leader demonstrating the anti-thrsis of those values, accompanied by a satan with a prophet who teaches apostacy (Elon who actively dissed empathy as weakness?).

A conservative friend's husband who tends to be apolitical wondered to her if djt might be THE anti-christ. These folks are not socially liberal at all, but he seriously pondered this concern. He is a PRACTICING Christian who has real concerns djt is the harbinger for the We nd Days.

Discussions I had with a work peer could never even look at anything orher than his isolated media sources. I read news from around the world, including differing views. I also communicate with people in other countries. He could not even reach past the usual dycophant media. This has been my experience withother cultists who have becone willfully ignorant, excusing behavior.

Lack of empathy and compassion outside their group marks them as insular.

@Neoerectus PS: cultist have now become fascist. Brownshirts threatening their own, like Justice Amy Comey Barret when she dareddissent. Gestapo ICE deporting people illegally into other country's prisons.

My father fought the last century's fascists in countries my forefathers emigrated from. Ironically, the Rainbow Division ended up in the area his fore-fathers lived with a noble's title.

Then pay for them. No reason you can't pay extra taxes (besides you not having a pot to piss in). There even is a line on the 1040 for it
