took some time but i am in the au pair program now, could have gone to canada aswell but... i wanted the warm weather south. 2 weeks so far and i like it, this will be an exiting year.

Welcome to the US! Where are you in the South? It's not just "warm weather" here; the humidity is so high, you can take a drink just by going outside and breathing.

@LeopoldBloom In Louisiana, not that far from New Orleans . and yeah it is already warm here, but they got air conditioning in the house i live.

@Strawberrry I've heard that air conditioning is what allowed white people to live in Florida.

@LeopoldBloom when central air was invented in the 70’s the population of Phoenix quickly tripled .

@AthrillatheHunt I was being facetious. But when AC became more widespread in southern Florida, that's when elderly New Yorkers started retiring there.
