Truth is ned, you don't give a sh*t about the loss of life because your cartoon caper to defame Biden at all cost is more important to you than anything else on earth.

What we know for sure ned, is that the ship was losing power immediately after unscheduled engine work had been done while still at port, at which point a mayday was called in when the Harbor Pilot who was in temporary command of the ship, began losing directional control of the ship as the bow and stern thrusters and the hydraulically actuated rudder control system began to fail simultaneously, all of which are powered through an engine-driven set of hydraulic pumps which don't work unless the ship's engine is running.

When the engine finally failed completely, the Harbor Pilot immediately lost complete control of his bow thrusters, his hydraulic system, his rudder control, as well as his only means of dropping anchor which is an engine-powered electric anchor-winch system that requires the ship's engine to be running to power the electric anchor winches to raise or lower the ship's anchors.

Without the engine running, the ship became nothing more than a rudderless, fully loaded raft made of steel in search of a shoreline to run aground on to stop itself.

@swirlie We all know it's a huge problem, that never may be solved.

This is a devastating attack! No matter, who shares guilt!
specman · 51-55, M
@swirlie that explains why Biden quickly said that the government would pay for the damage and repair.
