The point is Americans don’t believe these attackers are possible until it’s time to bury their dead.

@Jackaloftheazuresand I’m not spiting. Hubris is a dangerous thing. It makes people rely on the wrong things and blind to threats. Before the attack on Pearl Harbor, nobody believed anyone was capable of it. The same with 9/11.

The two oversights killed thousands of people each.

The aim of the post is not spite but hope that lessons have been learned.
