The United States was founded by white supremacists, who supported the continuation of white supremacy. That’s the reality and there’s no getting around it, unfortunately. There have been several actions throughout the last centuries to correct this, but the racist beliefs are ingrained in the culture, in ways most people don’t even realize.. Half of the country is actively trying to reverse those gains that have been made.
So I’m not sure what will happen next. 😞
