is the state pension in america very much

State pension? There is no state pension in the US per se. Do you mean Social Security distributions wherein you pay into a pool of money (deducted from your paycheck) set aside to fund payments for various programs for others. You receive it after retirement whose amount is determined by how much money you made in your worklife. And no, it's not much.
