Why do Americans just group all of Europe together

Why do you keep saying 'we're going to Europe' when there's such a big difference between Paris and Dunblane lol

The average American can't identify all 50 states on a blank U.S. map. I wonder how many could actually separate Europe from Asia, much less identify individual countries. We suck at geography, as mentioned above.

@exexec That only applies to those under 50 that attended liberal controlled public schools including colleges. Our education systems began to fail when liberals / socialists took them over so they have become much the same as european systems.
