It's kinda big. Makes it sorta hard to run, bureaucracy becomes an eldritch nightmare wasting time, money and souls.

@Longpatrol have you ever seen the movie 'the cube'? pretty good metaphor for this
Longpatrol · 31-35, M
@NoahB No I've not seen it, is it a recent film?

@Longpatrol i believe its from the late 90's. ***SPOOOOILERRRR****** the cube is basically a massive maze of torture chambers designed to kill the prisoners trapped inside. the movie is pretty much just that until the end of the movie when it is revealed one of the prisoners was somebody who actually engineered the outer shell of the cube. when asked why or for what purpose such a thing as the cube would ever exist the engineer explains that there is nobody in charge. That the cube itself is a headless beast manifested from the banal chaos of bureaucracies. He implies that perhaps it had a purpose at one point but that purpose had long since been erased in the shuffles of management. And that at that stage the cubes only purpose was to be used. lest those who built and contributed to its construction admit it was pointless and consequently admit their role in the system is pointless.
