Assuming Andy Burnham is the new PM, the first test will be does he appoint Ed Miliband as Chancellor? If so with his unrealistic green ECO targets we are due for more tax rises and further borrowing with a bottomless pit of treasury budget spent on that.

In that scenario i think i would be seeing the International Monetary Fund called into the UK for a second time in my lifetime, for a second labour administration heading toward bankrupting the UK and that would lead to cuts in public spending that way way out reach anything Starmer and Reeves originally wanted to put through.

I think it's inevitable that we all face further tax rises and uncertainty but I'm not sure that Miliband will be Chancellor, but then again, is there anyone in the Labour Party that would be suitable.
