English Pub reopens .

We hear so much negativity about pubs in Britain closing . When a pub reopens or a new one opens it is hardly ever reported on . Cheers to the Market Inn , Truro ,
( Grade 2 listed building ) Cornwall ,opened after nearly 4 years of being shut .

Dunno about the UK, but in most of Australia the most expensive bit of having a licensed venue is the liquor and/or gaming licenses.

Pubs get bought/sold just to trade those licenses.

@devonman Those things are all up there - I wouldn't have the resources to take on running a pub.
