Nigel Farage "goes on strike"

Announces that he will no longer attend Prime Minister's question time and sat in the press gallery to protest against the "most unrepresentative parliament ever".

The cause of his complaint? Despite his funny little sidekick Richard Tice bobbing up and down to catch the Speaker's attention, Reform UK are rarely called upon to ask a question. The reason being that they hold just 5 seats in the House of Commons. Out of 650.

But they do have a very popular TikTok account, which in Farage's eyes counts for more than parliamentary representation.

It's a good job that he announced he was going on strike on national TV as his Clacton-on-Sea constituents probably would not have noticed the difference otherwise.

I don't think he's looking for validation as an independent so much as 'wanting' to be seen as a potential Conservative Party leader in waiting.

Doing (or getting away with) this 'spoilt brat' routine. Being seen as the MOST right-wing. The MOST 'patriotic'. The MOST outspoken on issues that may or may not exist in a right-wingers 'reality' (most of them don't in everybody else's) explains his 'poor me' playing at politics

@Picklebobble2 I listen to all Politicans and their Manifestos we are being over-run with people coming into our country from abroad we can accept people who prove they have a well-founded fear of being persecuted back in their own countries for reasons of Religion, Nationality, Political Opinion, or membership in a particular group.

Greece now 10% of it's population who are illegals we should be doing more to protect our country i am sitting on the fence and have an open mind

@senghenydd Well that's an easy fix.
Depending on just how forcefull you're determined to be.

Forget detention centres or immigration centres at sea. (Currently propsed)
Just put naval gun boats within the 12 mile start of the accepted border with the order destroy anything that comes within it.

@Picklebobble2 The Late Duke of Windsor once said on visiting Hengoed South Wales "Something Must Be Done" there were so many un-employed there.

I was part of a group a few years ago who supported Asylum Seekers I have to say I think we were taken advantage of, we have a problem some of them are illegal and should be returned to their home countries only we aren't doing that.
