Elon Musk called for a change of Government in the UK and railed against the “woke mind virus” as he spoke at Tommy Robinson’s rally in London.

That was well-stated. And as an American, welcome to our world.
We have a little more experience with this so I personally don't think it's about the issues in any way. Or genuine grievances.
I see it as the result of the most powerful convincing the most emotional that they have "enemies." And they need to fight those enemies. That's who responsible for their positions in life. It appeals to a specific type of person but that's another thing.
I think that because so much of it takes place online what we're seeing is it coming to "real life" more frequently. Musk is sowing chaos because it's in his Musk's best interest .Not necessarily financially in the short term..But for personal power.
He's a dangerous man.

@Ynotisay It's only been a matter of time before certain groups in the UK started to copy the US in this way. I am hopeful that we will learn from you and resist the lure moronic simple ideas (and people). I can chip in with a few dollars if that will help with the exodus to Muskville on Mars.

@MasterLee Thanks for the offer. It seems that that US Constitution is currently being ignored and a coach and horses driven through all the 'checks and balances'. I am confident that when educated and empathetic people are in charge, many forms of government can work well. The opposite also applies.

@AdmiralPrune But they did and cheered. Fortunately it was only 100,000 out of a population of 60m, but they are noisy. I know a lot of us already see him for what he is.
