why are the government allowing illegal immigration

into england, into britain? there are hundreds upon hundreds of illegal migrants still being put up in 5 star hotels across the country, i just saw another video reporting it today......it is an invasion at this point...us english people are being betrayed by our government....i'm at a loss for words really.

Because governments can't really control every single person that gets in, and attempts to go harsh on it will just end up harming a lot of people who are there legally, while the fundamental problem remains unaffected - similarly to what's happening in the USA right now. Those who sell you an easy solution to such a complex problem as immigration are the least likely to achieve anything because:
1) I'd they really did, they'd lose their main campaign point
2) There's no easy fixes

And no, it's not an "invasion". What Russia is doing to Ukraine is an invasion, abusing the term is utterly disrespectful towards those who are experiencing one for real.

@NOS4R2 yes… but coming here and demanding benefits that are paid for by the taxpayers is the problem some of us think it is. Some of us are not ok with it. Coming here when you’re a criminal and looking to prey on someone is a huge problem. The biggest problem is the democrats who want to ignore these things

@Bill1372 i would say the bottom is when your own country is such a misery to try to live in that you risk all, leave everything behind and leave with nothing. Blame their government for making life so hard or scary that they need to leave.

(1) It is not allowing "illegal immigration" anymore than it is allowing shoplifting or common assault.
(2) If you can find a single actual example of an immigrant being housed in a 5* hotel there may be grounds for outrage. But you won't.
(3) It is not an "invasion".
