Kemi Badenoch elected new leader of the Conservative Party

First black person to hold that role, succeeding Rishi Sunak, the first non-white leader.

I think it's going to be a bloodbath.

Whoever wins will want to assert their authority.

That means either selecting those they feel have 'influence' within the different factions of the party.
Or they'll deliberately snub and exclude and attempt to isolate those currently occupying those positions.

For the results of what happens when you do that, see Boris Johnson's cabinet.
