I'm more concerned of those that picked Theresa May and Liz Truss....or, more to the point, those that put Theresa is the same bracket! I bet she's spitting feathers, as they say 'round here!

🤣

@JasminD I really need to hear the Liz Truss argument....

@OldBrit I Know!

I mean, Theresa was a bit wet but I think her heart was in a good place (for a Tory anyways) but, can you imagine her on here going 'I'm just as good as Liz?!?! At least I'm not got a 0, like Dave...'

🤣

@JasminD so who can vote for the woman who..

Was shortest ever PM in UK history but who
1. Crashed the economy that the BoE was frantically buying bonds.
2. Introduced permanent tax cuts backed by only a temporary borrowing solution
3. Took the pound to it's lowest ever point against the dollar
4. In only 50 days had to replace her chancellor ava reverse pretty much every policy she'd introduced
5. Had the lowest approval rating of a pm ever

🤷🏼‍♂️
Clearly a candidate for best modern pm

@OldBrit It's, as Toyah once sang, 'It's A Mystery'...

🤔

@JasminD Theresa May was a competent minister and worked tirelessly to try to make Brexit work. But she had been handed a poisoned chalice. Difficult to imagine anyone rescuing that desperate situation.

@SunshineGirl May did have a weak hand but dealt with it incompetently. She overpromised on Brexit and that led the Tory base to feel betrayed when she couldn't deliver it. In 2017 she called an election to increase her majority and then lost her majority. Running through fields of wheat.

She was really bad, even on her own terms.
JasminD · 22-25, F
@Burnley123 But, by all accounts her deal on Brexit would have been better than that which Johnno gave us.
Burnley123 · 41-45, M
@JasminD It would have been slightly milder. Brexit was a sham anyway.
JasminD · 22-25, F
@Burnley123 I would never have voted for it. I was too young at the time.
