As a citizen of Great Britain, no different to the previous monarch.

There is no such thing as "The British Commonwealth".
The Commonwealth nations' residents are the citizens of those nations; not "subjects" in any literal sense.
Charles has been King for only a few months and does not "rule" in the Mediaeval sense of governing, even Great Britain, let alone the Commonwealth.
The Monarch has changed but life continues as it was.

There are no subjects of King Charles III. We are all citizens of our respective countries, and that includes the UK.
Charles' accession to the throne really is not going to make any meaningful difference to anyone.
Edit: And it's The Commonwealth of Nations not the British Commonwealth.
