The British "nanny state" is at it again

Here in England a heatwave has been forecast prompting the Government to issue a "heat health" warning. Seriously! Part of the warning is to keep cool and drink plenty. Surely that's just common sense. We don't need to be told. For heaven's sake just leave us alone

Exactly. We are the nanny state. I'm reminded of a bag of peanuts with the expicit waning, " May contain nuts." 🤣I think this Government is driving UK into the ground.

@WildWings That's not a government warning, it is caution and self-preservation from a big food manufacturer that does not have too much confidence in its production processes.
