@RocktheHouse any form of diplomatic compromise that Putin would agree to is globally problematic. Any solution that does not end with the full withdrawal of Russia from Ukraine's pre-invasion borders only incentivizes future aggression from large nations that want things from smaller nations.

What kind of diplomatic talk is possible with the government of a nation that doesn't respect the sovereignty of another country and talks about the "need to obliterate Ukrainian nationalism by reeducation or killing off those who can't be reeducated"? If that is not obvious enough to understand what it's all about then I don't know what else people need to hear to get a grip.

@ViciDraco Assessing the situation from a military standpoint, there's no way Ukraine is going to win this war. They are only facing 10% of Russia's military force and Russia has barely used it's precision missiles. Ukraine cannot win and as the war continues, causalities continue to increase in Russia's favor. Russia has given Ukraine an out, simply recognize the sovereignty of the Donetsk People's Republic and the Luhansk, and recognize Russia's claim to Crimea which has already broken away from Ukraine.
