Why people are killing in Syria in the name of religion

That's like asking why people in India are killing in the name of religion

Or why people in China are killing in the name of atheism

Or why people in Israel are killing in the name of Judaism

etc. etc.

It's got nothing to do with religion and more so to do with power, control, resources, and national supremacy

Because every religion has done it everywhere else at one point or another.
