@Collegegirl23 So? People prolly don't want a child during war. They better not do what China did. They did that 1 child per person thing and it backfired on them.

@Nightwings that's a good way to escape the fighting, I met a Ukrainian with her husband and son here I was wondering why they weren't in the military the had only one adult son.

@Collegegirl23 They could be refugees, also some Ukrainians did flee right before the war started. There are also other things which exempts people from being conscripted into the army, like being an single father or essential worker, but men are not allowed to leave the country.

Edit: Obviously with the exception of people who were evacuated to other countries. ^^

@pride49 Did it? If they hadn't done it they would most likely not have been able to feed their population. It's plausible that they stuck to it longer than necessary of course.

@pride49 Exactly, when people stop having children it means there are core issue which needs fixing. Allowing only one child is ludicrous, and even lead to some parents getting rid of their children because they wanted one of a different gender, and more commonly it lead to them not being able to love and appreciate the children they had, because they felt so bitter about the child being the "wrong" gender. It was a really sick rule that made people sick too.
