Yes, she's real. We did video call. Although I don't know where this is going. She's actually from Ukraine and her family moved to Russia after Ukraine started bombing Donbass back in 2014.
So, what happened is she now lives in one of these closed cities. I didn't know Russia had closed cities. WTF is that? Apparently we even have a few in the United States.
At first I thought she was fake because she kept telling me the Internet in her city is restricted and they cut the Internet on and off at certain times. I thought that was a lie. But I read an article today that might substantiate that claim.
