Flip flopping TACO has agreed to re supply weapons to the Ukraine

For its defense against Russia. He also wants Russia to agree to a ceasefire… yup good luck with that BWAHAHAHA 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

https://amp.cnn.com/cnn/2025/07/07/politics/trump-new-weapons-ukraine

TACO previously BOASTED that only HE could end the war between Russia and the Ukraine in side 24 hours, BUT, only IF he was elected as TACO in Chief….. and that was back on the campaign trail in 2024….

trump has delayed taking any action for 50 (more) days. The supply of weapons will very likely increase by a small percentage... and I would wager those weapons will be defensive rather than offensive. After all, defensive weapons mean that putin will still be able to murder at least a number of Ukrainian children from a safe distance, whereas offensive weapons kill russian invaders - and putin won't tolerate that sort of behaviour from trump.

So, where are the greatly increased sanctions? Not 'secondary tariffs' on those who trade with russia... whatever that is supposed to mean. Lindsey Graham has bought trump time by promoting a sanctions bill that sounds good - until you realise that Graham included a clause that allows his master to arbitrarily override any or all of those sanctions.

US credibility is history.

@justanothername Yes, he sat in the Oval Office and had two or three world leaders correct him when he said that their countries had sold weapons to Ukraine and they pointed out that they had, in fact, given the weapons for free. His reaction to being faced with the truth was, as always, a petulant look and a mumbled diversion away from his pwn ignorance.

The problem seems to be that he thinks he's some sort of successful businessman and that the rôle of the President is to make business deals and to be popular by weaving a dangerous fantasy.

@newjaninev2 Sadly correct.

MTG is having a fit because 'it's not our war'. Someone should tell her that neither is the Middle East so stop selling arms there if she is so principled. (She may need the last word explaining.)

@FreddieUK The US give Israel ever increasing amounts of money. Yet pretend they are isolationist. Well maybe TRump just loves Russia and Putin.
tRump has realized that Biden was following the right policy by arming Ukraine, while tRump's own "peace in 24 hours" policy was naive and misguided.
@ElwoodBlues Actually, it was never a “policy”

It was a “concept of a policy”

Ukraine, without the article

Similarly to why you wouldn't say "the France", "the Germany", etc.

@justanothername On a serious note, he's just trying to distract the press. I'll believe that aid getting delivered when it is delivered.

@Elessar 💯

@Elessar Trump always speaks as though he is so intelligent that he is the only person who has come to the conclusion that a particular situation has worked out the way it has. (GASP!)

🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Americans always demand an incoherent and destructive foreign policy and huge wars that aren't wars at all. That's bipartisan. You needed that to prevent socialism, here at home and over there!

He does seem to have a bit of a tendency for his mouth to write cheques he can't honour lol😜
You mean he didn’t end the war his first day in office? /s
