A place I wouldn't mind visiting.
The thumbnail is, however, misleading, because it shows Leningrad/St. Petersburg in the wrong location on that map. The building isn't as "isolated" as they imply, and therefore their (feigned?) perplexity regarding its location isn't justified.

The pinnacle for Russian engineering was when the space race was going on. The US spent millions to develop a pen that would operate in zero gravity. The Soviets just used a pencil.
