newjaninev2 Have you really lived sixty years of your life not knowing what an army is?
The Russian army, or armed forces, are the military of Russia. It has several branches and is headed by president Putin, with Andrey Belousov acting as Minister of Defense, and Valery Gerasimov as Chief of General Staff. It has 1,320,000 active personnel and two million reservists.
Here is a list of Russian and Belarusian tennis players who qualified for Wimbledon 2024:
1. Daniil Medvedev
2. Karen Khachanov
3. Andrey Rublev
4. Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova
5. Daria Kasatkina
6. Anna Kalinskaya
7. Elena Rybakina
8. Mirra Andreeva
9. Liudmila Samsonova
10. Victoria Azarenka
None of them are in the Russian army or have fought in Ukraine. They are neutral sports people.
The guy who lies all the time
The hollow man days before the russian people invaded the sovereign democracy of Ukraine
The hollow man immediately after the russian people launched a genocidal war against the sovereign democracy of Ukraine
The hollow man after deciding that in fact the russian people would impose themselves on Ukraine by force, and in fact would occupy Ukrainian territory.
I was not aware that Putin is playing at Wimbledon? Does he feature in this player list? Apart from belonging to the same national and ethnic group, what do these players have in common with Putin? An even more important question is how this war is relevant to them? Should Israeli athletes be banned from playing at tournaments? Should Palestinian athletes be banned from playing at tournaments? Between the years of 2001 and 2021, should the US have been banned from tournaments for having invaded Afghanistan?
Ukraine is also bombing Russian civilians. Does it make you happy to see innocent Russians, including children, being killed?
