Russia's economy is booming. The Ruble is steadily climbing. The biggest mistake was sanctions. At the moment all Russia's billionaires have no place else but to plaugh their ever-growing riches back into their own country and as a result infrastructure is expanding, buildings are erected all over the country, and massive contracts are in progress. Don't let the mainstream media fool you. Russia is better off now than it was before. The countries that are really suffering are counties like the US and others in Europe who wants an for-ever war in the Ukraine.

@Bladey With high interest rates and no place to sell its main product, oil,for rubels. I highly doubt it. The population is in decline. The brightest workers have fled. It is technologically crippled. China is gradually overtaking the eastern end of the country and Russia has no way to stop it. It has lost it's Black Sea fleet and will never be a trading partner with the West until.it undergoes democratic reform.

@Tastyfrzz So it seemed. But Russia started trading in Africa (Brics) and it still has sufficient resources to go for a number of years before it gets into serious trouble. Europe and the US is not in such a favorite position currently
