The Russian Navy is conducting war games in the Bering Sea ...

Off the coast of Alaska, for the first time since the Soviet era. A few days ago, China and Russia made some sort of military pact, if I understand correctly. The pact also includes Iran and Turkey. I thought Turkey was a member of NATO.

The world seems to be lining up on two sides, Russia and China or the U.S. and our allies.

But after the fiasco in Ukraine, I am not so sure that I would be too reliant on Russia.
And China does things with strings attached. They give loans to developing nations that they know they cannot pay back and then annex a seaport or naval base.

@bleach We have done that for decades.
But we don't annex the country.
We just use it to influence the leadership to 'see things our way' and vote favorably in the U.N. and buy F-16's and Boeing airliners.
