Putin had to resort to using prison conscripts with the offer of 200,000 rubles a month($5000 US) and a 6 month contract with the promise of freedom at the end of they live that long but Many prison conscripts are trying to leave and have very low morale. Putin is having to resort to using private contractors from the Wagner Group to fight his war.
