the US bought Alaska From the Russians over 50 years ago for 7.2 million $ , my question is what was Russia doing with Alaska ? , shouldn't
Alaska belong to Canada in the First place ?

Ummm it was 150 yrs. ago and the Russians used Alaska for fishing, lumber and mining. They were there since they discovered it in 1741.
