Is that in the Northern Territory of Australia?

@Thevy29 🤣 No, it is not in the Northern Territory of Australia or anywhere near the continent. Qatar borders Saudi Arabia - ultra Islamic conservative country under Sharia Law. It is also the richest country in the world - per capita.

@LoveTriumphsOverHate It is not an ultra conservative country. Alcohol is allowed, all religions are allowed, women are not required to cover up, and we have a couple of bases in there. They built so many luxury hotels that they can’t fill, so US officers used to get stats at these resorts at Qatar’s expense.

They put me up once at the Ritz for a few weeks, in a suite with multiple bedrooms, a living room, a dining room, my own sauna and steam room, with my own chauffeur and assistant, at their expense and the assistant would pick up my tab whenever I ate outside the Ritz. Only thing they did not cover was alcohol.

But the whole place does not feel real. Kind of Las Vegas, without the gambling and shows. Also a desert.
