I support Palestine 馃嚨馃嚫

Really unfortunate innocent people being massacred and under the masquerade of a war by a malicious entity known as Israel.

These people may control the parliments across the west, but people on the streets recognise whats going on.

Also the US is a banana republic

@Majorsite You sir are a true american. Your profile picture in that american underwear, perfectly compliments your paradigm on this world conflict.

Seems like the Gaza situation is at an impasse.

Israeli Viewpoint:

Supporters of Israel believe that the country has the right to defend itself against threats posed by Hamas and other militant groups.

They argue that Hamas initiates violence and uses civilians as shields, making it difficult for Israel to respond without causing civilian casualties.

Israel's actions are seen as a necessary measure to ensure the safety and security of its citizens.

Some critics of Israel's actions acknowledge that while Hamas is a problem, they also express concerns about the proportionality and humanitarian impact of Israel's military responses.

Hamas Viewpoint:

Advocates for the Palestinian cause, including Hamas, argue that Israel's actions constitute collective punishment and violate international law.

They highlight the humanitarian crisis in Gaza, including the blockade that restricts access to essential resources and aid.

Hamas is portrayed as a resistance movement fighting against Israeli occupation and oppression.

Critics of Israel accuse it of committing acts of genocide and mass displacement against the Palestinian people, particularly in Gaza.

Overall, the perspectives presented in the text reflect deeply entrenched narratives and emotions on both sides of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, with each side justifying its actions and condemning those of the other.

Banana Republic refers to like, say, when most of Central America were turned into banana factories for the US. Democratic governments over thrown, many people killed, no food you grow for yourself, death squads, etc... all so that they could make sure the US had loads of bananas all the time.

So yeah with you on Palestine but that ain't the word for it.

You're right about Palestine but I don't think you understand the concept of a banana republic.

@Burnley123
Yeah, it's also a term with a racist history.
Why is it racist? Aren't they just alluding to the primary exports of those countries, which were seen as corrupt and unstable countries?
MasterLee56-60, M
why do you support terrorists committing genocide on Israel
MasterLee56-60, M
@Glassysky who attacked on oct 7 again?
Glassysky22-25, M
@MasterLee

October 7th is nothing, Hamas is one group, collective punishment against civillians and barcading humanitarian aid will haunt israel in the international community.

You have some audicity to say who attacked who when the situation in the region is so complex, palestinians lived there for centuries and Israelis took over their identity and displaced them.

@Glassysky Don't pretend you didnt say the initial comment about the US just to troll.

Also, I don't really say much about the conflict but a peaceful two state solution is best.

@Burnley123 Read the thread before giving a thumbs up to a misrepresentative comment.

Lot of very comfortable and absolute western commentaries, often from countries with no real experience of terrorism. Not as yet seen any of those commentators lift a finger to help anyone.

@Glassysky
classified as genocide.
You can classify it as what you like. There is no race of Palestinians - they are Arabs and there is no evidence whatsover that Israel has tried - or is trying - to annihilate all arabs. Nice try to defend the deliberate butchery by Hamas, cowardly hiding among innocent civilians. I'm not going to defend the extreme retaliation of Israel but Hamas started this - and they could end it by agreeing to return the hostages (still alive) immediately. As I said, they really don't give a fuck about the Gazans

@orioninthenight Issue is people living there for centuries are being displaced by a people who believe their god's chosen.
