Also I find the idea that they are being assisted by Iran a bit of a stretch for a few reasons. First off it would be like the Anglican church funding the IRA. It doesn't make sense from the religious and cultural standpoint and second Iran is just gets blamed for literally everything in the region because the US doesn't like them.
